I always use a blank DVD-R in storing my files from my hard disk drives to a permanent storage. Often I do this when I notices that there is no more enough space left in my hard disk drives. Mostly I transfer such various movies, songs, and application programs into the blank DVD.

When burning my files, sometimes they do not really occupy all the maximum space of a DVD. So what I often do is that I burn my files using Nero program for the reason that I would be able to burn them in a multisession option. Thus I can add files on the disc later on.

I am the type of person who really loves to be surrounded with lights especially at night. Whenever lights surround me, I always feel comforted. I also do not feel alone. It feels like God is with me. Thus home lighting is very essential for me. I want my home to be well lighted. If possible every room must have their own lighting fixtures.

Chandeliers are also my favorite. They give out light beautifully and also artistically, giving you a sense of ease in every room in your mind. We had a chandelier before but it was broken because it was accidentally dropped when it was cleaned. From that time on, we did not have a chandelier in the house. Anyway we have beautiful ceiling light fixtures. My father was the one who designed our light fixtures in the house. It is just so perfect!

PHP

PHP or the PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor is a scripting language. PHP originally stood for Personal Home Page. It uses .php file extensions. Rasmus Lerdorf designed this in 1995. PHP is an object-oriented language.

Later on, the PHP Group is the one maintaining the standards for the said language. Currently they have released version 5.2.9 this 26th of February 2009. They are planning to release their beta versions—5.3.0 and 6.0. Version 6.0 is still under development.

I could say that PHP is really good. There is a lot of functionalities which you can use immediately. Usually, people or web developers prefer to use PHP for some great security reasons.

Bikes in My Life

When I was a young kid I was so fond of bikes. There was even once that I had destroyed our own bike because I was the one who used it the most. It broke its body into two. Of course kids bikes are not that durable though. Later on my mother bought me another bike. This time it is now a road bike. Unlike any other road bikes, my bike was personally designed. It had been painted with the designs I liked.

But now what I want is to own a mountain bike especially that I am now a very outgoing person who just loves the nature. Recently an adventurous passion has awakened in me. All of a sudden, I like nature tripping, going into the wilds, and, the one I love the most, mountain climbing. That is why I really want to have my own mountain bike.

Obviously I have a Nokia 3120 cellular phone. Yeah, I can hear you. It's considered as a vintage phone. Duh, like who cares? But for your information, this phone has a big sentimental value for me. It has been with me for almost five years already. And I could say that our bonding has been so great. You bet.

Anyway this phone belongs to the 2G Network technology. I guess it was officially announced in the second quarter of the year 2004. Currently its production or product distribution has been discontinued. You heard me right. In other words, it's now obsolete. It has a 128 x 128 pixel screen display. It is a color phone. Nokia 3120 can display up to 4096 colors.

Nevertheless it has GPRS with a speed ranging from 24-36 kbps. GPRS is like an Internet connection for a mobile phone. It has games. Also an alarm clock, stopwatch and an organizer. Optionally it can have a camera. But an external and detachable camera. It can play midi music files. Now you know my phone. It's not that bad, right?
