My brother just got new phone. He has got a new Nokia 7610 mobile phone last summer. Am I too late with the news? Anyway, that phone is really great.

The phone uses a 2G network technology. It was released in March 2004, but, sad to say, its production has been discontinued now. It is able to display 65 thousand colors. It can play MP3 files. A speaker phone with a 2.5 mm audio jack. It has an unlimited entries for its phonebook, for as long as the memory is concerned. Its internal memory is only 8 MB. The phone supports RS-MMC type of memory card.

Nokia 7610 has a bluetooth technology. It has a 1 megapixel camera. It can record video. And it can last for three hours of talk or phone call.

Programming Language: Java

Thursday, January 22, 2009

Do you know Java? I am not talking about a place. It's even different from JavaScript. Okay, what I mean is the programming language. First of all, Java is a programming language. It was formerly developed by James Gosling at Sun Microsystems. It first appeared in 1995. Java is said to be an object-oriented language. Object-oriented means that it uses "objects" and their interactions to design applications and computer programs.

Recently the Sun Microsystems released a new version of Java. Which is the Java Standard Edition 6 (1.6.12). Java programming language has been implemented or used vastly in many areas in programming already. Ada 83, C++, Eiffel, Smalltalk, Mesa, Modula-3, and Objective-C are some of the ancestral languages of Java. Java has a cross-platform compatibility.

Before, in making our academic projects, we oftenly used Java as our main programming language. We had already created games using this language. One of the games is inspired by Windows' Minesweeper. The other was like a mystery game. You will have choices to choose from, then those choices will lead you to some consequences.

See, Java is also fun to have. Others say that Java will soon become the leading programming language in the world.

Adobe Fireworks

Thursday, January 8, 2009

Adobe Fireworks, commonly referred as Fw, is a graphics or image editor. It was formerly owned and developed by Macromedia, which was in 2005 acquired by Adobe. Its latest release is the CS4 which is version 10.0, last September 23, 2008. The product was developed using the C++ language.

Currently, I am using Fireworks despite of the fame Adobe Photoshop has gained. Fireworks is as powerful as Photoshop. That is my humble opinion. I find Fireworks to be more user-friendly than Photoshop though the difference is not that big.

The software is not free. Therefore you need to buy its license usage for you to be able to exploit the product to its fullest.

Apache HTTP Server

Thursday, January 1, 2009

Apache HTTP Server, commonly known as Apache, is a web server. Generally, most of the web servers are Linux web servers. It was designed by Robert McCool. Apache Software Foundation is the one currently developing Apache. It was initially released during 1995.

Their latest version release was on the 12th of December 2008, which is the version 2.2.11. Apache is coded using the C language. Apache could also be run as your localhost web server. That feature is a great for web developers and designers.

I have already used Apache as integrated in LAMP and XAMPP. Recently, I have used Apache in XAMPP. Apache is really a great resource to web developers like me. It is also user-friendly. Apache is great!

Truely Real Friends

Tuesday, December 23, 2008

“Some people will be your friend
Because of whom you know
Some people will be your friend
Because of your position
Some people will be your friend
Because of the way you look
Some people will be your friend
Because of your possessions
But the only real friends
Are the people who will be your friends
Because they like you for who you are inside.”

-Susan Polis Schutz

P.S. Thank You Friend(Are You Be Why)! We both know in which category YOU fall in! Yaya? (^-^)

God—A Make-believe?

Tuesday, November 18, 2008

Omniscience—possession of complete knowledge, omnipresence—a state of being present everywhere at all times, and omnipotence—having an unlimited power, are the significant attributes of a so-called God. Others say that God is the all source of everything, eh? Of evil too? But some claimed, God is made of perfect goodness. Oh my, this is vain! Which is which? And what is the real truth?

Having only a little knowledge of everything, I can't give you compelling evidences which can help enlighten the subject matter. But there is one thing I know a sure truth. And it has nothing to do with the things presented above.

You! You are the sure truth. Your mere existence alone is the convincing evidence that life, however, can still be good. That for someone to live its life here in this kaleidoscopic world with you around, can still be good. You already knew that! I know. Just wanted to remind you.

We've all got this light of goodness in us. All we need is to let it shine through. Brightly!

Happy to Catch Your Attention!

Wednesday, November 12, 2008

Thank You so much for the visit!

I should tell you that first. See, I’ve just caught your attention. Despite the fact that I never promised I would tell you anything interesting.

You’re right! I’m definitely a newbie in this thing. Now, I really find this thing to be a very enthusiastic pastime. Another way of spending my time wisely. Also, just looking around to meet some fun people out there. Who knows? You might be one of ‘em.

So, just a little about me, I like reading books, watching movies, and playing pc games and sports. Also like laughing with friends (oh, those silly laughs), pranks, and witty chat. I love the outdoors, that fresh and green world, and getting away from the house on weekends. I am open-minded, and would love to meet people who share the same interests.

Looking forward to getting out and exploring the world more!
